History of thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is celebrated in the 28 every year on thursday. It became a national holiday in 1862 when abraham lincoln declared it. The pilgrims shared a meal with the americans. It is a three day festival to eat and have fun. Turkey wasnt a main meal and pumkin pie it was deer at first. In 1789 george washington had a thanksgiving.
