“Enthusiasm makes the difference”

I think it means that  In order to have fun and enjoy life you have to have enthusiasm. Enthusiasm makes everything different because it makes people happy and excited and actually do the work. For example if your playing a sport and if you have enthusiasm your going to want to play and score everything and make the team happy. But if you dont your going to ruin the game and get a l and just loose and make the team bad. Or your with your family and then you dont have enthusiasm you will get mad easy and just be tired of everything and dont wanna do nothing.
