Profession On November 12, 2013, the Board of Trustees (BOT) of the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) directed the AAMA Continuing Education Board to establish the Assessment-Based Recognition in Order Entry (ABR-OE) program for electronic health records (EHRs).
