I have been asked what i mean by word of honor. I will tell you : Place me behind prison walls walls of stone ever so high ever so thick reaching ever so far into the ground there is a possibility that in some way or another i might be able to escape but stand me on the floor and draw a chalk line around me and have me give my word of honor never to cross it. Can i get out of that circle No never i will die first. I believe this is the longest quote i know and is a very good one because it tells you about him having honor and keeping his promise. He would die in that circle no matter what and stay in it as long as he can. If he's in a group or in a dangerous situation he will do what's the right thing. You must keep your promise no matter what. I think this quote is a better one then before because it tells you that you should always be like karl g maeser. He is loyal and is a person who keeps his promise. For example if i tell my mom that i will be back by 9 i will. If i dont i break the promise and cant be trusted no more. Then i will not be able to go out and no one will trust me. But if i keep my promise my mom will let me go out more and trust me for everything. Then sometimes you get use to it and you have integrity
